The 2018 National Private Land Conservation Conference will be hosted by Australian Land Conservation Alliance (ALCA) partner organisation, The Queensland Trust for Nature (QTFN) in Brisbane – 24, 25, 26 October.
ALCA and partner organisation, the Tasmanian Land Conservancy (TLC), proudly hosted the 2017 National Private Land Conservation Conference in Hobart, 18-20 October. The theme for the conference was Valuing Nature and delegates were invited to consider how the environment’s wellbeing is attributed – from natural capital and ecosystem services, to community and cultural connections. Held annually, the conference is an important initiative to grow the national private land conservation network across Australia. The 2017 conference built on the success of past events, including the 2016 gathering, hosted in Melbourne by Trust for Nature, Victoria.
